BEE National Certification Examination
Energy Manager & Energy Auditor, one day at a time
Enrol in the papers you need. Each day Recallio gives you new cards, solved problems step by step, and the revision that is due. You never plan; you just start.
Daily cards
Short facts and formulas from the BEE syllabus and past papers.
Step-by-step problems
Long numericals one step at a time, with "Explain more" when you need it.
Built-in revision
Spaced repetition brings each card back just before you would forget it.
Noon flash
One or two high-yield facts per paper at 12 noon IST.
⚡ Today's flash facts
- P1 What is CUSUM, and how do you interpret its graph? CUSUM = cumulative sum of (actual − predicted) energy, period by period. A falling line means savings (actual below predicted). A rising line means excess consumption. A horizontal line means actual = predicted (no change in performance).
- P2 What are the typical evaporation ratios for biomass, coal, gas and oil fired boilers? Biomass 2.0–3.0; coal 4.0–5.5; gas 11.0–13.0; oil 13.5–14.5 (kg of steam per kg of fuel).
- P3 What is the risk of a deep speed reduction in a system with high static head? Flow and efficiency fall sharply and the pump can run in a damaging region. At the lowest speed in the chapter's example (1184 rpm), the pump cannot lift liquid, flow and efficiency are zero, and the energy input heats the liquid. The pump then becomes a water heater.
- P4 What is lighting power density (LPD)? Total operating lighting load (W) for a region of the building ÷ built-up area (m²) of that region.
